On the Sunday of the Convention, an auction of some very rare items will take place but you don't have to actually be in attendance to bid on one of the lots.
The band have donated some amazing items to the auction including an instrument from each member which have all been used during their career...

This bass has been owned and played by JJ since the very early 80s.
It made it's public debut in the video for the 1982 single Strange Little Girl.
It has also made many audio appearances on studio recordings since the early 80s and at many 'unplugged' gigs.
JJ was only willing to part with his Kinkade since taking ownership of a replacement Shuker.

Baz Warne's Fender Telecaster guitar
Back in 2000, this black Fender Telecaster was given to Baz by the rest of the band as a welcome gift. He has used it throughout the last 10 years but it has now been officially 'retired'. With case.

This was Dave's main keyboard for many gigs between 2005 & 2010, including the Rattus at the Roundhouse gig. This keyboard was also used in the studio for the Suite XVI album and has now been 'retired' from Dave's current set-up.

This is Jet's beloved prototype snare which he has owned since 1980 when, following the New York theft of the band's gear, Promuco stepped in an provided him with a replacement kit.
This snare was used on many occasions, both live and in the studio, in the last 31 years.

10 tour School Mam bell
Used throughout 1990 on the 10 British and European tours to introduce the song School Mam.
It was finally used at the Alexandra Palace concert on the 11th August 1990, which was the last gig of the original line up.

A pair of tickets for the band's gig at their spiritual home, the Roundhouse, in London plus a meet & greet with the whole band.
Two flights and tickets for the Paris Olympia gig '12
A pair of flights to Paris from London and two tickets for the band's April gig at the legendary Olympia plus a meet and greet with the band.

How to bid:
Either In person at the Convention. Winning bidders will need to pay by Debit/Credit Card on the day at the merch stall.
Or Prior to the Convention By email to the Stranglers Official Site contact address here. The prospective bidder will need to provide a Credit/Debit Card in advance and will need to pay shipping if they are the winning bidder. Bids will then be placed on behalf of the highest advance bidder only at the Convention (who may also need to pay a deposit before the event). Any advance bids must be received by 12 noon Thursday 17th November 2011 (GMT) latest. Update 17/11-Advance bids now closed
