Important announcement: Convention tickets on eBay
It has come to our notice that some Convention tickets are being offered for sale on eBay and already have high bids on them. Due to Music Glue rules, any ticket that has been resold through a third party website, such as eBay, will not be valid for the event and entry will be refused without refund. This rule is designed to prevent any touting or profiteering. Please do not bid on any tickets offered on eBay, as exclusion from the Convention on the day could clearly cause upset/offence.
If anyone has spare tickets for the weekend, we have a waiting list of people who would like tickets and have already found homes for ten 'spares' so far. We are only able to find buyers at face value and will then arrange for the buyer & seller to contact each other to complete the transaction. Please email us via the SOS contact email for details...
Pub quiz and band Q&A session
Please see the updated Convention page for details of entry to the Stranglers pub quiz on the Saturday night and submitting possible questions for the band Q&A on the Sunday.

Exclusive JJ & Baz download track
During a brief respite in work on the next studio album last week, JJ and Baz took time out to record a track exclusively for the website.
The new song, entitled You are a swine, will be aired live in the JJ & Baz set at November's Convention and shows the band's often overlooked sense of humour. Enjoy!

France in the springtime...
2012 is shaping up to be a very busy year for the band... Shortly after the March UK tour, the band cross the Channel for a series of 12 dates around France.
The French tour starts in Lille on April 2nd and travels around the country finishing at the Bol D'Or Rocks motorcycle race in Magny Cours on 14th April, which the band played back in 1987. Following their recent debut gig there in 2009, the band return to the famous Olympia in Paris on the 13th. There will be another French date later in the month on 25th April although venue/location are not cofirmed as yet. The location of the gig on the 3rd is also to be confirmed. Tickets will be available soon for all French gigs although some are already on sale via FNAC (which offers an English translation on its page). Paris tickets will be available here shortly.
After the Magny Cours gig, the band will head off on tour around Europe although details are still being finalised for these gigs. More details will follow as soon as we get them. It is hoped that a coach trip will take in a pair of these Euro dates too.
