The Raven flies in Paris

The best known live footage of the band from 1979 was filmed at the Empire Theatre in Paris that November. Until now, this footage has only been available as poor quality copies on Youtube and the like. The French television archive INA has now made the five track recording available as part of a 3 DVD boxset featuring a variety of artists from that era. Priced at around 30 euros it is available through INA, FNAC or Amazon France. Alternatively, the footage is available to download for a charge of 3 euros here. The tracks featured are: Five Minutes, Shah Shah A Go Go, Ice, Down In The Sewer and Hanging Around. It is a great live document of the band at that time...

Thanks to Eric Dochez and Thomas Bouyer for info

Full info on the gigs and further details can be found on the Smalltown Heroes' site or you can read the full story on Baz's site.

Black and Blue supportWilko Johnson

The special guest for the British tour in March has now been confirmed. R&B icon and legend of the pub rock scene Wilko Johnson joins the band on tour. Wilko has been a long term friend of the band since his Doctor Feelgood days back in the mid 70s. He was even JJ's flatmate in West Hampstead, London in 1977. Recently the focal point of the MOJO award-winning Feelgood biopic Oil City Confidential, his exciting live performances make his addition to the tour a real bonus. See you there...
