Convention tickets and further details

We are pleased to announce that tickets for the forthcoming London convention weekend on 19th and 20th of November will go onsale this coming Monday, the 28th February at 9am here

There are two ticketing options available. Firstly, a £99 ticket which is payable as a £49 non-refundable deposit to secure you place followed by a £50 balance by the end of July. Secondly, the earlybird option which is a total of £89 payable in full when you book. All ticketing administration is being handled by Music Glue for this event.

The Stranglers will be playing a total of four different sets across the weekend. Saturday's events kick off with a new full band acoustic set and culminate with a special electric gig which will showcase the Black and White album and associated tracks. Sunday opens with a Baz and JJ acoustic set and the weekend's events draw to a close with another unique electric performance including a sneak preview of new tracks from the band's forthcoming studio album.

We can also confirm details of the impressive bill of special guests who will be appearing over the course of the weekend. Saturday sees popular Northern punksters Goldblade and the Alarm's Mike Peters and his trusty acoustic guitar. The evening will finish with a disco until late featuring the original Roundhouse DJ Andy Dunkley. Sunday sees the first UK gig since 1988 of long term band acquaintances Polyphonic Size from Belgium and they are followed by former Sex Pistol Glen Matlock and the Philistines. John Robb will compere the weekend's events which will include band Q&A sessions, fan mastermind, an auction of some seriously collectable items and other band related events.

The proposed itinerary may be subject to minor changes if required.

It promises to be an unmissable weekend-see you there...

Friends reunitedWilko Johnson

Earlier this year, JJ met up with his old friend, the R&B stalwart Wilko Johnson, to discuss Wilko's career, Dr. Feelgood, pub rock, astronomy and the period where they shared a flat which was a focal point for the punk elite. We were there to ask the questions and to try and keep the conversation on topic...

The 'Biography' tab has now been replaced with 'Nostalgia' which is a new section of the site dedicated to features and articles specifically about the history of the band. The band biography has also been updated in light of Jet's recent odyssey piece, both of which can now be found in this section. Many future articles are planned highlighting certain events in the band's career as well as features aimed at collectors.
